Raptori – Oi Beibi (Crankshaft “Swear My Shaft rmx”)
Apr 22 2010
I recently participated in a remix competition of the biggest cult hit “Oi Beibi” of a legendary Finnish rap band Raptori, who were mainly active in 1990-1991 and make a comeback every 10 years (2010 being their second comeback). I was selected as one of the Top 5 finalists. If you are on Facebook, you can listen to and vote (i.e., “LIKE”) my remix right here! Thank You. \o/

Crankshaft @ Last.fm
Oct 21 2008
I created an artist page for myself at Last.fm, check it out here! I uploaded most of my older material in good quality audio, so feel free to listen to it… Check out the “Albums”. (And ignore the heavy band, there’s nothing I can do…)

I’ve moved!
Mar 23 2008
After an extraordinary four-and-a-half years of living in Catalonia’s capital Barcelona, I’ve moved back to Helsinki!
I’m currently busy working at Fake Graphics and can’t accept that many freelance work offers anymore… However, I’m still happy to hear about interesting projects (preferably audio work), so don’t hesitate to contact me.

A Crankshaft video!
Aug 25 2007
Yesterday I put an unfinished music video of my track ‘Default Score’ on my MySpace videos page. It was made in 2003 by my friend Zebracolor, and it’s been lying on my hard drive ever since. This is an unfinished preview and there will never be a final one. :P Enjoy anyway…!

Splice v2.0 released!
Jul 30 2007
After about 9 months of hard work we finally released the new Splice a few days ago!
www.splicemusic.com
Thanks to my exceptionally talented colleagues and everyone else involved! :-)
So, what’s new? In short: everything. The whole site was both rewritten and designed from scratch. Most interestingly, the new sequencer, written in Flash ActionScript 3, allows the use of real-time synthesizers and audio DSP effects! It’s the coolest thing ever, huh? The sequencer has a fully featured audio engine with a plug-in API quite similar to VST, so adding new plug-ins is just a matter of coding them — we already ported some existing VST plug-ins to AS3, which was a breeze!
Now that the tools for online music making are professional enough, I think I’m gonna spend a lot of time on Splice and make new music there! :P
